HEALTH MINISTRY

The Health Ministry provides education on the leading causes of poor health, as well as free preventative health screenings, health fairs and referrals to healthcare services.  This ministry also provides free use of exercise equipment in our exercise mezzanine, located in the Wings of Healing Multi-Purpose Center.  The mezzanine is fully equipped with a wide range of exercise equipment including a treadmill, stationary bicycle, ski machine, hand weights and exercise videos and more.

The purpose of this ministry is to invest in the lives of disadvantaged and at risk people, by assisting them in focusing their attention and energy in productive ways, through providing a positive enviroment with opportunities for personal growth, development, and progress, which will reduce domestic and gang violence,substance abuse,  teen and un-wed pregnancies, and general juvenile delinquency, and give paticipants an opportunity to become successful and productive community members.  

This ministry's various events and activities are held in our Multi-Purpose Center which  houses a computer training lab, class and training rooms, recreation and meeting rooms and our fully equipped exercise room
